Some of the Rhythm Fusion members with the Next Element dance group will be involve in the next show which is the MicBandits present: It's a wrap event that will be held at Rizqun Sutera Ballroom on the 14th November 2009.

A Band Once will open the act for the event, which will also feature Layzee Clan, MNC, One D and Projectunes.

The event is also organised in association with Joe Flizzow and Altimet's Brunei Tour.

UBD Charity Gala Night

Last Saturday 07th Nov 2009, Rhythm Fusion had perform for the UBD Charity Gala Night; Masquerade Glam at Royal Berkshire Polo Club. It was brilliant, crowds were really supporting.
We only managed to practice the whole routine for 2 days and thankfully it turned out great though lupa position and steps sikit but hey we had fun.
One of RF which is Amal was in for the finals of the UBD's Got Talent with the TNC (The Nameless Crew) group and they got 3rd with a $200 worth of prize, congratulations!

WOW! It's been ages since the last update, and tell ya what.. waaaazzzzzuuuppp!! Okay that's random and not funny at all.

Anyway, as ya'll know that Rhythm Fusion has involved in the last 2 weeks Sounds of Hope concert at Jerudong Amphitheatre featuring bunch of local artists and dancers. And the show was AMAAAAZING, it was a huge success and it brought new name to the country. We would sincerely like to thanks everybody who's involve during the event. The crews and backstagers (is there such word? lol), and especially to the organizer whom without her, this won't gonna happened. It's like our dream come true, and also thank you to every single person in the group for the cooperations and the composer of our song "Your time is up Reach for the Sky" by Hans Anuar. I'm telling ya man, he's the bomb in making great musics, also the choreographer (mainly) of our routine "ZUL". And for the FINALE dance routine, all of us worked our ass off to choregraphed our part and it turn out AWESOMEEE!!! We danced as one! Overall, it was great working with the other dancers and also a big opportunity for us to learn different genres of dances. Well, I hope there's more project in the futures that'll involves us dancing together again.

Sounds of Hope Gala Night

Rhythm Fusion & Epic Rhythm are involve in Sounds of Hope Concert (a charity Gala Night) which will be held on the 3rd October 2009, Saturday, at Jerudong Park Amphitheatre.

This Sounds of Hope is a charity gala night, organized to help achieve HM's vision of "Zero Poverty by 2035". So you are welcome to attend this event as the tickets are already out for sale.

SKRF's Sungkai Out

Finally we have a Sungkai out together at Jessamine Restaurant, RGBC. And after that had a photoshoot done by Khaliq and Fakhrul. Thanks to the owner of the restaurant for letting us borrow the function room. All the photos were superb!! Credits to Khaliq and Fakhrul.
We really had fun and amazing time with them, not all of us SKs could come to the sungkai out (Samboi, Lea, Nd, Olen, Nunu, Nadia, etc couldn't come) but that's okay. We'll try to have another photoshoot which involves all of us.

Then, it was almost 9.30 that we wrapped it all up. We decided to have a drink and just chill out at Coffeebean Bandar, actually we planned to go to CB Gadong but unfortunately it was full house and second choice was Taurean Arch and it was full too. So yeah, finally CB Bandar + De'Royalle.

SK Sungkai in 2006 in Tutong, we were still underage and belum belesen. =D

And, we had 2 times sungkai out with my SKs in 2006. Had photoshoot after sungkai too.

In 2007, we had sungkai at Nyonya and photoshoot.

2008, had a small sungkai gathering too. At Atik's house in Kiarong right after we had photoshoot at Tungku Beach.

It's been awhile since the last update.

okay well, just now we had practice for Sounds of Hope concert at Fitness Zone Kiulap at 8.30 til 11pm. If you guys wondering what's SOH is? Click here.

At last, but not all of us were coming. It was only amal, nizzy, zul, jozy. We taught Jozy our steps for the concert and he managed to memorize it straight away but need to polish a little bit lah.

SOH means "Sound of Hope"

Finally, last Thursday 6 Aug. The Epic Rhy/thm Fusion had our practice for the SOH concert that will be held in October, at Fitness Zone Kiulap during night time since on that day we don't have musical drama practice, so we took the free time to practice for that. And need to give our sample video of our routine to the organizer by this coming 16th.
This few weeks were very hectic for the Epic Rhythm since most of us are involve with the melodrama recording & shooting with the Phuturephase artist. The shooting date of the musical drama will be 13th, 15th and 16th Aug '09. So at the meantime, while we're practising for the musical we also curi-curi time to practice for the SOH. Inda gila kan tu? hahaha.. so yeah, basically our mind macam rojak already campur2 dance steps. And since, inda lama lagi shooting for the musical we technically gonna focus more on that first.

Dance preview at Jade Studio

Yesterday which was 24th July, both Rhythm Fusion & Epic Rhythm had a dance preview at Jade Studio at 3pm. The preview was suppose to at night but since we're having a dance practice for upcoming recording with Phuturephase under Epic Rhythm so our preview was brought forward to 3pm. All the other dancers will be previewing at night. It was for the charity event which will be held in October. Our routine was not yet finished, it was just some scratch and definitely we'll improve on that cos it's been awhile since our last choreograph for this event cos it seems that we're getting busy with last minute shows, private events and recording all along since early this year.

On the 28th and 29th of June Rhythm Fusion joined the Bmobile & HSBC's "Who's Got Talent" that was held at Mall. It was hectic yet fun and blissfully eventhough we just got 4th place but at least we didn't leave with empty hand. =D
It was a competition held by as usual bmobile but this time combined with HSBC. We've been actually having a dance practice under Epic Rhythm for the Musical Drama Raya recording with Phuturephase all these times and we knew about this competition probably during our shooting for P2F kecoh2. So yeah, we had our time a little bit if we're not tired after our practice for MD (Musical Drama). So when the times almost came, that's the time for us to practice all out and blocking the items. The dancers for RF were only 4 of us (Nizzy, Amal Sk, Amal Saran, Ihti)

28th was the semi-finals (for all dance groups only) - we got in Finals which was held on the 29th and we were competing against all categories (singing, dancing, bands, etc).
29th was the Final day. There were 5 4 dance groups altogether got in to Finals and i bet ya they're all were AWESOME and had their own styles and routines.
In the end where the results were out..
1) Singer ($1,500)
2) A band ($1,000)
3) Singer ($800)
4) Dance - Rhythm Fusion ($500)

We've already done with our P2F Kecoh-kecoh Raya shooting somewhere in middle of June'09. I know it was awesome and yet we will missed the fun that we had with the P2F'ans and crews.

Rhythm Fusion at Empire

It was a hectic week for RF & ER (Rhythm Fusion & Epic Rhythm). Cos we had this P2F recording and the next thing is the dance audition for this event which will be held soon don't know when. We only had one day to practise for this audition.. and alhamdulillah, at last on the spot we were told that we got in for that.. both Rhythm Fusion & Epic Rhythm.

Zul wanted us to come by to SM Menglait, there's this cheerleading comp for the school's rumah2. haha..

went to Centrepoint foodcourt for lunch.

As for the updates.. last week Nizzy & Amal involved for the P2F Raya recording which was on the 10th April, actual recording.

It was fun mingled with the P2F singers they're all very talented in both singing careers and acting as well.

B.Mobile Dance Comp

Our group Rhythm Fusion joined the dance comp organised by Bmobile & Relentless Entertainment held at Mall, Gadong. It was awwwsome, love the crowds. they love Rhythm Fusion.. (from what i heard haha).

Epic Rhythm got on the 3rd place, tie with KB Rockers. 1st runner up- B2BR & the winner is the In Saint group, they pulled great performance. (too bad didn't get the chance to take pictures with other dancers)

Something that missed out..

Well actually before the competition, some of the RFs took part for several shows which made us busy for the whole month of March. yikess! and we were told about the B-Mobile Dance comp 3 days before the day itself. At the same time we also had this one show in KB on the 20th March, and apparently we only had 1 day to pract for the dance comp thing.. It was so damn tiring. & we also planned not to take part for this dance comp cos of so little time to pract for the routine, and need to pract for other show also. But there's some reason *disclosed haha* that in the end we decided to join.

Yeahh!! Way to go Epic Rhythm & Rhythm Fusion for made it to the finals during the Move It! Dance Showdown at ICC. The good thing is, Epic Rhythm got on 3rd place while Rhythm Fusion the 4th place (for the only girls group during the comp).

I know it's already Raya di US and UK and Brunei balum lagi... but hey guys, it's only hours left!

If you really want to know (and if you bother to even care jua), Raya here-- to be honest, is nothing like Brunei. There are Eid prayers nonetheless but then.. its atmosphere is nothing like Brunei. No extended day offs-- life goes on like any other day, no big big open houses. I miss home more this time.

But I guess the Raya Celebration with the Malaysian students here would suffice? October 11.

And I have a test this Oct 7, exams on 16 and 23. Hidupku sungguh indah sekarang. Woohoo.

Riight. ;)

Rants and woes aside, I hope all of us have found our true calling/s this holy wonderful blessed Ramadhan.

Hi guys and girls, syukur alhamdulillah I arrived last Thursday August 21.. sorry for not really explaining the whole trip. As usual, beparam dalam airplane for 8 hours EACH destination is gila. Food not bad. Tapi yang paling torture, masa kan ke Washington DC.

Life at Ann Arbor, its fun. For a small town, it's big for me. My apartment belum ready with furniture so when I do get them, I'll post something up =)

How is everything back home? I wish all you guys dapat ke sini and let the Wolverine show you around. I'll miss our outings and jokes-- for now I can only liat dari screen laptop so I know what's been going on with you guys.

Pulan Kuraman is a small tropical island in the South China Sea located off the coast of Labuan, North Borneo. It is sparsely populated and is popular with expatriates, divers and those who travel between Labuan and Brunei.

Kuraman island has two main beaches and is noted for its fishing, large sand spit and pleasant tropical island atmosphere. The interior is forested with a range of timbers and contains cleared paths for jungle walks. In recent years, large storms have contributed to increased erosion resulting in several areas of vegetation and numerous buildings being washed into the sea.

In the surrounding waters off Kuraman there are several known shipwrecks including the Dutch Steamer SS De Klerk and a minesweeper, the USS Salute, both sunk during the Second World War. Kuraman, like the rest of North Borneo, was captured by the Japanese during this period and was liberated by the Australian Army in 1945, although no fighting ever occurred on the island. Two other major shipwrecks can be found in the area: the MV Tung Hwuang, a freighter that sank in the 1980s while transporting cement to Brunei for the Sultan's new palace, and the MV Mabini Padre, a trawler from the Philippines which caught fire and sank in 1981.

Kuraman has no roads or vehicles and it can only be reached by boat. There is a small private jetty and a new larger government pier which assist in providing access. A lighthouse, built by the British in 1897, is situated on the highest point of the island. Kuraman is populated by predominantly illegal immigrants from the Philippines, who claim to be a local Malay community, with a small village that includes a bar which serves food and is locally known for its fried chicken. Basic accommodation is also available, with small shacks available for rent--- copied from wikipidia.

okay so first, just wanna let you know that these pictures are not in order. malas ku menyusun aah (sorry Mal!). suppose to be, from kami datang ke Alladin til' ada amal then surprised her. (well maybe i can edit it next time!).

well, here it goes.. at first, the plan was to bawa Amal hangout since lama sudah inda hangout sama2. at around 8pm atu kami ke Alladin lah sdh tu the surprise was inside the VIP room.. yg dtg sdh Kalek, Jolin, Niz, Ejud, Ihti. we prepared all the stuffs, ordered the foods and everything but suruh the worker bawa the food around 9.30 lah spaya inda sajuk. skali dtg drg Lea & Nameng, Zul then ND & Liyana, baru tah Apis & Afie, skali dtg lagi Ka Bb (Ka bb inda tau surprise ani utk ia jua). Thanks to whoever yg dtg lah, to whoever yg inda dpt thats ok.. will be next time yea. No worries babies :) since time atu Amal worked til' 9pm, kami tunggu ia balik kraja lah kul 9 atu but Kalek said ia saja aga balik kraja.

the plan; gtau Amal we had to cancelled the plan kan hangout cos need to balik awal due to some problem. (kesian plg tu time Amal replied back, she was hoping for a get-together hangout and sort). And since time atu Kalek yg bawa ia, Kalek (punya plan) said ia pun need to go home (to tutong) sal ada something up. Right then (Kalek signal Jolin dah), Jolin called up Kalek to bawa hangout if drg nada plan. So Kalek 'on' plg (kira lepak sekajap lah) saja with Jolin's offer (since it was the plan) and meet up somewhere at JP (specifically Alladdin! since drg sudah on the way di Jerudong kali). Then sudah sampai Alladin (kira nunggu Jolin dtg lah tu), duduk sudah apa drg ani.. skali kluar tah kami bawa cake and sang her birthday song "happy belated birthday Mal" (additional fireworks lagi ada tu time atu, mati2 ku pikir si Kalek yg masang pasal ia suka tu benda2 cematu ah.. haha jgn marah lek). Sudah abis lagu birthday utk Amal, masuk lagi arah VIP room.. menyanyi lagi lagu birthday, this time utk Ka BB.. hehe surprised ia jua! (happy birthday ka bb!)

It was one fun night, it'll be more fun if all the SKs were there. MISSING YOU GUYS!

2007 Kota Kinabalu trip

From the scale of one to ten,i rate this trip 10/10..it was pretty awesome,more fun less drama.hehe,We stayed at atik's house in kk.The guys slept at the guest house at the back while the girls at the main house.The first thing we did was shopping!lol...then at night we went to kk waterfront.There were a lot of people,cos it was christmas even.we didnt go to any club just sat and drink there.

Then the next day..again shopping and then some of us played futsal :) so cool playing futsal there.hehe..our team won btw..me and kil's team.Kalik and nd's team lost!wuuu..hehe...then at night,we went to starbucks just chilling out.Not all of us were there though.

It was island time!on the 26th.We chose to go to Manukan island.FYI:its the second largest island out of the 5 islands.We came there with some extra people,Phat friends:shanon,jude,and vincent.We went snorkling!it was fun but personally i think it was soooooooooooooo scary like seriously.After hearing someone was stung by a jelly fish we were quite careful.I saw a n eel..OMG!sooo...i freaked out big time..cos at first i thought it was a snake ya know the poisonous water snake.haha.anyway,lets focus on the good part,there were nice fishes,colourful ones.and i screamed when i saw a baby jellyfish!waa..and guess what.Nd captured it,and brought it back home.Tapi mati lapas atu.The reason :"overfed" according to atik that is.OH yeah they fed the jellyfish with fish food.Khalik,nina,aqilah and me went banana boating,it was awesome!gugur tpt the sea lagitu!We went back to KK city with sunburns hehe.

Oh yeah i forgot to mention the part where we went cyling.People were like looking at us,cos of our awesome bicycle.hehe..we went cycling from aqilah's house to tanjung aru beach and also 7/11.

28th was the last day in kk for nizzy,ejud,ihti and deena so they went shopping the whole day while some of us went to play futsal :D and then at night we all went bowling and playing pool at sutera harbour.

Swimming at sutera and clubbing were up for the next day,We went to Cocoon.Zyds showed her wild side that night!and everyone were like really high!Zyds was a party starter :D,and omg!the band who played that night was absolutely good man!They are very versatile,they can play hip hop,pop,you name it!they are from phillipines btw.I think the band is called the "Nextep".That day was Khaliq,nd,zul,amal and nina's last day in kk.

I think our real kk trip ended on the 29th.But overall it was the best 2007 trip!

personally i think it was the 2nd best thing happened in 2007 the first one was my surprise party hahah!,but man..seeing u guys everyday,living under the same roof was the best part!save credit bah haha...but man it was soo siuk!this year mana?KL?Thailand?hehe,so anyways,i love you guys!and happy new year!Oh yeah i wanted to say thank you very much to my aunt,uncle and the rest of the family for letting us stay at their house and for everything!Kil you ROCK!cheers.
